Frances Pace has over 25 years experience in designing adult learning experiences and training programme management. She has worked for professional training companies: as Learning and Development Programme Manager for Park Sims Associates and for Integration Training and Thirdspace Coaching & Organisational Development. She has designed training and facilitation material for numerous third sector organisations, including the NHS, Tower Hamlets Council, Turning Point, The Stroke Association, Action Aid, The Advocacy Project, Octavia Housing and Care and The London Symphony Orchestra at The Barbican Centre.
Frances is passionate about making sure all parts of the training cycle support learning to be fully integrated – from proper preparation to understand deeply what will work for clients, through to meaningful evaluation and follow up that helps embed change. Her personal approach means training is never a ‘sheep dip’ exercise, but is focused on what will enable individuals to develop their skills, knowledge and behaviour. Having studied embodied learning, Frances has a special interest in participative training methods which fully engage the whole person mentally, emotionally and physically. Frances designs effective programmes for staff at all levels, from volunteers and junior staff through to executive & board level.
Frances holds a number of professional learning and development qualifications: CIPD Certificate in Training Practice, Certificate in Embodied Facilitation, Diploma in Interpersonal Communication Skills and Certificate in Life-Coaching. Frances dances Argentine tango and salsa, and loves theatre improvisation.
