User involvement during the coronavirus outbreak

We’re continuing to run our regular user voice work by phone, video meetings and email.

We’re also doing some important work on the impact of Covid-19. We’re gathering views and experiences of the people we work with about the support they’re getting in the current situation. This is so we can find out what services they’re accessing that are working well, and what needs improvement. Our survey explores six areas, specifically looking at people’s experiences during the current emergency period:

  1. support
  2. food
  3. sanitary/hygiene
  4. activities
  5. connection/isolation
  6. money

We’ll report our findings to commissioners and service providers. We’re also signposting people to information and services we’re aware of that might help address their current needs.

We hope this work will give valuable information about the current issues people are experiencing, so commissioners and service providers can improve immediate and short term support.
