Camden mental health service user involvement

27th January 2019

We are really excited that from 1 February 2019, The Advocacy Project will be working with Camden’s diverse service user networks, amplifying the voices of users of mental health services and facilitating their involvement in the design, procurement, monitoring and review of services. The project will work with service users and mental health commissioners to deliver a strong, local, independent and constructive user involvement service in the borough. We will build on the strong foundation of service user voices in the borough, working in partnership with existing networks and user groups to strengthen the capacity for co-production and involvement across mental health services and in the community.

The ethos of our user involvement services is to bring those who have been users of health and care services back into projects and forums to help improve the services we all need.

We will continue to support and build on the great work of the existing user infrastructure – CBUG and Patients Council. You can find out more here https://camdenbug.org/https://cbug.org.uk

If you would like to know more, either as a service who wants to work with us, or an individual who wants to get involved, we would love to hear from you.
