“The Advocacy Project is passionate about voice, rights and choice. If you share that passion, join us as our User Engagement Coordinator to ensure people with learning disabilities can speak up, their voices are heard and they shape local services.” Michael Hagan, Service User Trustee of The Advocacy Project

We are excited to be back in Brent to deliver an exciting and innovative new Health and User Engagement Service for people with learning disabilities. In partnership with Brent Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), we will be seeking the views and opinions of people with learning disabilities living in Brent, sharing their experiences of health care services.

Together we aim to:

  • Reduce the barriers to health care
  • Improve people’s access to and experiences of using health care services
  • Increase people’s knowledge of health care to enable them to self-manage
  • Increase awareness for Brent health professionals and commissioners

Want to be involved?

We are searching for an exceptional Learning Disability Health Engagement Coordinator to develop this new service and ensure the voices of people with learning disabilities are included in shaping service planning and delivery. We are particularly interested in hearing from Gujarati or Hindi speaking individuals so we can represent the diverse communities in Brent.
