Joining forces to make sure everyone’s voice is heard

The Advocacy Project is delighted to announce that we have become a member of National Voices, the leading coalition of health and social care charities in England.

National Voices brings together more than 200 organisations working across health, care and communities to champion more inclusive, person-centred services which are shaped by the people who use them.

By joining the coalition, The Advocacy Project will be able to contribute to national conversations about health and social care while making sure that the experiences and voices of the people we support help inform policy and practice and create lasting change.

Together, we’re better

Collaboration has always been at the heart of The Advocacy Project’s work. We know that lasting change happens when organisations work together, share learning and speak with a collective voice. Becoming a member of National Voices gives us new opportunities to connect with charities and partners across the sector, learn from best practice, contribute to policy discussions and amplify the issues that matter most to the people we work alongside.

As an organisation that champions people’s rights and choice, we are proud to join a network that shares our commitment to making sure health and care services are shaped by lived experience and centred around individual needs.

For us, this membership is about more than access to networks and information. It is about collaboration. By working alongside other charities and sharing the experiences of the people we work with, we can help influence change at a national level and make sure that people’s voices are heard where decisions are made.

Conversations for change

Through our membership, we will have opportunities to engage with emerging policy discussions, share expertise and experience, connect with sector leaders and help make sure that the views of people who need advocacy are represented in conversations about the future of health and social care.

We’re excited about the opportunities ahead and look forward to working with National Voices and fellow members to create positive change together.
